My Story:

On one of the longest nights of the year, in the cold of the Michigan winter, I felt a spark. A fire was igniting in me something that had been calling me quietly for a long time.

After more than 20 years in corporate roles, I had built a successful career and learned from incredible leaders. And yet, I felt a quiet pull. I sensed that I had more to give and that something else was waiting for me.

In 2025, during a period of unemployment, I finally had the space to tend to the parts of my home that had been waiting patiently for me. I began clearing rooms and sorting through totes and piles that needed organizing.

What I noticed immediately was that once a space was clear, it felt ready. Ready for rest, ready for creativity, ready for something new. The space created made room for what was coming next, even if I didn’t know what that was yet.

As a child, I loved rearranging rooms and sorting things. I felt that clearing out rooms and organizing brought fresh air to a space. Back in 1993, I wrote in a diary, “It seemes strange that we seem in a better mood when we’re organized. Maybe thats why the people who are unorganized can be irritable”. My spelling wasn’t great, but I was on to something.

Now, with the steady support of my husband and the encouragement of those who see my passion clearly, I’ve realized this work isn’t just something I enjoy. It is a calling.
